Wedding Cakes
I take great pride in the cakes I make for weddings. It's a massive honour to be asked to make someone's wedding cake, I know how much time, planning and expense goes into a wedding, and I want to do my best to take the stress out of organising your wedding.
Along with the cakes themselves, some brides ask me to make sugar flowers to go onto the cake. These are a particular speciality and something that I love making. I've had some great comments from Brides who were delighted with how they looked.
Making the wedding cake of your dreams
I know this is the day that you've been planning for a long time. It's a day that will bring your friends and families together and will be remembered for a long, long time. So everything HAS to go right!
That's where I come in. I want to make the cake that you've been dreaming of, and the cake that you and your guests will love and remember. It really is an honour for me to make your wedding cake, and I'll do everything I can to make the showstopper that you deserve. I also have some classy and elegant cake stands that you can hire that complement your cake.
Initial Consultation
I love this stage of the process. This is where I meet you for the first time and we talk about design, flavours, flowers etc. I'll offer advice where I can, but this is about you and what you want. Do you want flowers? If so, then do you want sugar flowers or fresh flowers? How many people is the cake to feed? How many tiers do you want? There's a lot to cover!
Tastings
I offer a wide variety of flavours of wedding cake. People usually have different flavours on each tier. It's therefore important that you get to taste the flavours so that you know what you're going to have. I can make cupcakes in each of the flavours you're considering, to allow you to choose. There is a small extra charge for this, but this is deducted from the final price if you decide to book your cake with me.
Communication
From the time that you book your wedding cake with me, we'll talk often. I'll clarify with you the flavours and designs that you want and if you're having fresh flowers, I'll liaise with the florist to make sure that the flowers I use matches the flowers you have on the day.
Setting up on the day
In the lead-up to the wedding, I'll speak to you or the Wedding Coordinator at the venue, and establish a time for me to come in and set the wedding cake up. I take a huge amount of pride in making sure that everything looks as good as it can before I leave. If you have any particular wishes for the day, please let me know before hand.

I'm very proud to have been selected as a finalist for the Wedding Cake Designer of the Year 2021 in the South West Wedding Awards. I was selected based on the feedback and the recommendations of my previous wedding cake couples. Their feedback to the Awards organisers was so good, that I'm in the final on the 12th November, 2021. This means a huge amount to me.

Sugar Flowers
Sugar flowers are the perfect feature on a wedding cake. They really make a statement and your guests won't believe they're not fresh flowers! I've spent years learning and perfecting making sugar flowers of all varieties.
Flowers of all types, ferns and leaves in all colours and shapes. Do you have a favourite flower that you'd like me to make for your cake? I can tie the colour into the colour theme of your wedding too.
